Dear community,

As climate catastrophes increase in frequency and intensity, EcoRise is grateful to be working with educators and youth who are eager to create change and foster healthier, more equitable, and increasingly sustainable communities for all. Last school year, 467,488 EcoRise students and 8,348 EcoRise teachers took action towards a world that places people over profit and seeks to restore the health of our planet for future generations.

Today, I am thrilled to share our 2021–2022 Impact Report with you which details their inspiring stories, key milestones, and program outcomes from EcoRise classrooms across the country. It was a big year for our organization. We reveled in the joy of returning to in-person events. We published our new strategic plan, which centers environmental justice in our programming. We expanded our youth climate councils and student internships. And our preK–12 students designed and implemented a record 130 projects that are having positive environmental and social impacts in their communities.

EcoRise couldn’t do any of this without your support. Thank you for being a part of this important force for good in the world today! On behalf of our board, staff, teachers, and students, I’d like to say thank you and we hope you enjoy reading and exploring our latest Impact Report.

Together, #WeRise,

Jon Stott
