At EcoRise, we believe youth can change the world. This giving season, we’ve been celebrating the transformative potential of youth leadership and inviting our supporters to invest in youth who are speaking truth to power, creating a better, more just future for us all.
Recently, the world saw this power in action with 16-year-old Greta Thunberg being named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year. Greta may be the face of the movement, but there are countless other youth who are on the ground creating sustainability projects, advocating for environmental justice, and leading on climate action.
Behind the youth are teachers like Sabina Malkani who inspire them to look at the world in a new way. At EcoRise, we give these teachers and students the tools they need to become changemakers in their communities.
Tomorrow marks the final day of our annual fundraising campaign and we are pleased to share that our board and advisory council will match all gifts dollar for dollar that are received before midnight on December 31st.
