Dear EcoRise community,
On behalf of the EcoRise board, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our community members who donated to EcoRise on #GivingTuesday last week! Their contributions helped us raise $1,380 and launch the Education, Community, Justice campaign which runs through the end of 2022.
We know that the impacts of climate change disproportionately affect communities that have contributed the least to the problem. At EcoRise, we believe that equity must lie at the heart of what we do. Through our work with educators, young adults, and community partners, we hope to bring environmental justice to the forefront of conversations as we continue to build and cultivate a resilient world that can equitably respond to the climate crisis.
There is still time to give and support this cause. Help us grow our programs to activate and inspire more youth in the coming year by donating today. All gifts made through December 31st will be matched up to $17,000, thanks to our Leadership Circle Matching Fund.
