Overview

In order to improve their outdoor learning space and collect rainwater for the plants there, Lily and Zulema looked to the ancient Romans who designed aqueducts to bring water to their communities. The students are using their grant to build a modern aqueduct with rain gutters, planters, and posts that will collect 1,300 gallons of rainwater in rain barrels each year. The system will be elevated so the space below will be easy to use by students.
