The San Antonio Mayor’s Youth Engagement Council for Climate Initiatives provides a way for youth to actively engage in the civic process and invest in the future of their city as part of the City of San Antonio’s Climate Action & Adaptation Plan (CAAP). The mission of the Council is to empower San Antonio’s next generation of climate champions with the tools they need to become effective advocates in their community.

Meet the 2020–2021 Mayor’s Youth Engagement Council

EcoRise is proud to support the City of Houston’s Office of Sustainability’s 2021 Youth Climate Ambassador program. An initiative of the Hire Houston Youth Program, a group of dynamic, young adults have been selected to drive community outreach, cultivate sustainable and environmental knowledge, career skills, and act as leaders in their communities – advancing key goals of the Houston Climate Action Plan (CAP).

Meet Summer 2021 Houston Youth Climate Ambassadors

In its inaugural year, the Austin Youth Climate Equity Council will provide a platform for student leaders to learn about and engage in local climate action efforts. They will collaborate with school and community organizations to support the Austin Independent School District’s sustainability and long-rage planning and the implementation of the City of Austin’s Climate Equity Plan.
