Since 1993, the Texas Environmental Excellence Awards have been honoring the most outstanding environmental stewardship projects from across Texas. The EcoRise team is proud to announce that our organization is a finalist this year in the Education category!
TEEA is a program of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and their mission is to honor the state’s most outstanding waste reduction and pollution prevention projects. These award-winning programs reflect the goals of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality itself: to protect our state’s human and natural resources and ensure clean air, clean water, and the safe management of waste.
We are excited to attend the ceremony in May and celebrating the bold efforts of citizens, communities, business, and organizations to preserve and protect the Texas environment.
